Waterloo Region International Plowing Match 1995 and 2012 Fund

Investments in food security, health care, and education are essential to the growth and development of our region. Services that advance these areas are key to sustaining Waterloo Region and ensuring all communities thrive.

The Waterloo Region International Plowing Match 1995 and 2012 Fund provides grants to organizations whose services focus on agriculture, health, and/or education and benefit the citizens of Waterloo Region. Since 2002, over $360,000 has been distributed to support initiatives in the region. Approximately $22,000 will be distributed through the fund in 2024.

How can our organization apply?

The Waterloo Region International Plowing Match 1995 and 2012 accepted applications between March 4, 2024 and April 2, 2024 at 9:00 am (EST). Applications are now closed.

 

Guidelines to help you apply

  • The maximum amount to apply for is $4,000.

  • Funding must be used for expenses incurred between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025.

  • Organizations receiving funding must be located in and servicing Waterloo Region.

  • Applications will be considered from:

    • Registered charitable organizations

    • Qualified donees recognized by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

    • Non Profit organizations through a partnership with a fiscal partner

  • Organizations that receive funding through this grant stream will be required to share stories, links, photos, etc. to demonstrate the impact of the funds.
