Learning Journeys

In the last two years we've introduced Learning Journeys into our granting process to provide educational opportunities for our granting committee volunteers and our fundholders. Learning Journeys are an opportunity for our grantees to showcase projects and programs that have received funding through our grant streams to those making funding recommendations and decisions. These visits allow us to experience the impact of programming first hand.

This summer, members of our staff and committees participated in Learning Journeys at several charitable organizations that received funding in the Spring through our Kids to Camp grant stream, including those featured in the images below:

Feedback received from the host charities and those attending the sessions has been positive, so we will continue to look for learning opportunities in 2018 and 2019. If you are interested in learning more about our Learning Journeys, email Sarah at sarah@kwcf.ca.
