I really enjoyed Random Act of Kindness Day, and found that people understood today, as opposed to when I do it throughout the year. Sad, but it's so rewarding even for today!
I hope you had a really rewarding day as well, and thought you should know that my niece at UBC was participating and following our day as well!

Conestoga Mall celebrated Random Act of Kindness Day too! Here's what they did to get involved:
- They were the hosts for the official kick-off!
- They posted the RAK Day information on the mall sign facing King Street
- They had a Kindness Krew distribute free beverages and snacks / treats to mall customers from 9:30am to 11:00 am
- Their Management Team distributed treats to all the mall retailers!

Your tenacity and energy behind Random Act of Kindness was a real blessing to me!
Opportunities presented themselves to me on Friday and the reactions were priceless!
I'm a believer that such random acts are contagious and can change our world one person at a time! Of course the idea is it spreads exponentially!
I hope next year to use RAK Day as a company incentive / contest for my staff. Who's act I'd paid forward the furthest will receive an act from the company!
I attended a funeral on Sunday for a family friend who passed away from cancer. Maurice was what you would call a 'gentle soul', very caring and kind. The Minister spoke about hearing the RAK message on the Guelph radio station last Friday as he was preparing for the service. The message struck a note with him and of course then went on to draw similarities as to the meaning of RAK and my friend's father. He went on to talk about the importance of RAK and how in a world where there are too…
I have had long hair my entire life and yesterday chopped my hair off and donated it to a childs voice foundation. I'm liking the new do. Thanks for having a random act of kindness day- its definitely what pushed me to do it

Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of Random Acts Of Kindness Day. We really enjoyed it. It's contagious.
We had great response on the street. My 9 year old son was a hit plus his principal was waiting for him to arrive at school for 9:00am to shake his hand and say that they were very proud of being a part of it...... its catching.

My name is Yvonne Winchur and I was a RAK Kindness Krew member for CARP (KW and Area Chapter) for RAK Day on Friday, November 4th.
As my team and I were driving to our destination distribution spot, one of our team members, Nancy Finkle looked at her watch, noticed it was 8:30 and excused herself to make a phone call.
Since we were all in the same car we could not help but overhear her conversation. When she was finished she explained that she was calling a lady who is almost 99…
After returning to her car, Kelly's wife met a stranger who left the following note on her car. "At 12:55pm your car was hit by another vehicle. I witnessed it and told the driver of the other car that she hit your car. She said "I didn't do any damage" and left.
I will let you decide. Her license plate # is ____, it was a grey chev ____. My name and number is______."
Luckily there is no visible damage but if there had been- the action of this stranger would REALLY have been appreciated.
