Today my 10 month old daughter and I went out to contribute to Random Act of Kindness Day®, we stopped at Zehrs and picked up two dozen cupcakes along with a bouquet of flowers. The cupcakes were delivered to a Fire Station for the men and women who put their lives at risk to save others.
We then made a trip to an old age home and dropped off the flowers, letting the receptionist know that they were to go to someone who needed them, I hope a lonely old woman or man benefited from them.
I also hope that the people who were touched by my random acts of kindness decide to pay it forward :) And that I can make this a yearly thing so that my daughter grows up knowing the importance of doing nice things for others and the way it makes you feel :)
Hoping many others joined me today in sharing the joy,
