Please join us!
For a guided nature walk at the Grand River Conservation Area’s Laurel Creek Conservation Area.
Located in northwest Waterloo, Laurel Creek is an oasis of nature in the city. Once surrounded by farm land, the area is now 294 ha (726 acres) with something for everyone - trails, active outdoor activities and an outstanding array of wildlife.
Lindsay Campbell, GRCA’s Restoration Specialist, will tell us more about the unique nature features of the park.
After the tour, please join us for refreshments and share your opinions about the importance of nature in our community, as part of Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation’s On The Table initiative.
