What is a Barnraising Grant?
Barnraising Grants are intended to create something new and to do so through collective action, meaning, in partnership with other organizations. This “something new” is likely to cause a change in organizational direction, often in a major way. These grants are intended for transformational projects that focus on fulfilling a community need at a systems level. The key is the sustainability of critical, needed services in the community, transforming the way that organizations work together to provide these services. These grants are not focused on the sustainability of a singular organization or an existing program.
Who can apply to a Barnraising Grant?
