The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation improves the quality of life in Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area now and for generations to come, by building community endowment, addressing needs through grantmaking, and providing leadership on key community issues.

Established in 1984, The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation is one of over 175 community foundations in Canada today.  We serve Kitchener-Waterloo and area, offering people a variety of ways to make a difference in our community through philanthropic giving.

In 2010, we approved grants of $1.8 million in both Endowed and Funds for Distribution grants, and have granted over $25 million since our inception.
