Logo & Recognition

Logo and Recognition

The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation encourages grant recipients to raise awareness about their projects through their community and local media by way of news releases, newsletters, brochures, websites, and advertising.  All are easy and effective ways that your organization can build its profile and educate others about the good work you do on behalf of community!

When you are ready to promote a project that The KWCF has funded, we ask that you please acknowledge our support, and contact us with the details!

The purpose of this acknowledgement is to raise awareness of the increasingly important role that philanthropy plays in providing support for community initiatives. By recognizing The Foundation's role in supporting your project, you will assist in spreading the message of philanthropy in our community. This helps others to learn about the issues facing our community and where they can make the most difference with their support.

Recognition

If your organization has received a donation(s) through The KWCF, please contact us first to ascertain the preferred recognition practice before putting anything to print.  Our preferred recognition practice is to first identify The KWCF and then list any funds that have granted to your project as points underneath in either alphabetical order or from highest to lowest grants received.

For Example:
The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation
     - Community Fund
     - The Jim and Sue Hallman Family Fund
     - The Woolwich Community Fund

Using our Logo

We request that our logo be displayed on any promotional or marketing materials produced for the projects we support.

For Example: Advertisements, web pages, posters, invitations etc. related to the project should all clearly and appropriately display The KWCF logo.

To obtain The KWCF logo, please contact Bethan Llewellyn, Office Administrator via e-mail or via telephone at: 519-725-1806 ext. 4.
