There are several different ways that you can become involved in Random Act of Kindness Day®.

Random Act of Kindness Day® Committee Member

This committee is made up of a core group of volunteers that play an instrumental role in the execution of Random Act of Kindness Day®.  Each Committee Member is a team lead for one of the following areas:

• Kindness Krew Recruitment
• Volunteer Recruitment
• Special Events
• Poster/Card Distribution
• School Engagement
• Community Outreach

The team leads have the responsibility of overseeing their portion of the celebration with the help of their sub-committee. Team Lead positions are still available in the following areas: Kindness Krew Recruitment and Poster/Card Distribution.

Sub-Committees are made up of volunteers that want to get involved, but can't take on a larger role such as a a team leader position.
We are currently recruiting for the following sub-committees:

• Kindness Krews
• Special Events
• Poster/Card Distribution
• School Engagement

Regular Volunteer

Random Act of Kindness Day® is always in need of one-off volunteers to help spread the gift of kindness around K-W and area. Whether you'd like to help deliver cards and posters to organizations or groups around town, or helping out at the annual Kick-Off we'd love to see you get involved!

Do you have a passion for doing "random" kind acts?
Can you spare an hour or two of time on November 9^th, 2012?
Can you find 2-4 friends or co-workers to volunteer with you?

If you answered YES to the questions above, then we want you to be a Kindness Krew Team Captain!

For the past two years, close to 300 volunteers went out into the community on Random Act of Kindness Day® to hand out free copies of the Waterloo Region Record. We couldn't do this without the support of our Team Captains, and we'd love to have you join in.
