Applying for Grants

Applying for Grants

Grant making is one of the key ways we support our community. We provide grants from a variety of funds throughout the year, each with their own guidelines and schedules.

Only registered charities (qualified donees) are eligible for grants from The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation. Non-profit organizations that do not have a charitable registration number, but would like to apply for a grant, please click here. Your charitable registration number is a nine-digit number followed by RR0001.

The Community Fund allows us to create opportunities to improve K-W and area and forge partnerships to tackle our region's most pressing issues. Our annual Waterloo Region's Vital Signs report provides us with a blueprint to invest - and take action.
