Applying for a Woolwich Community Fund grant

The Spring 2010 grant deadline for the Woolwich Community Fund is now over.
Watch here for the Spring 2011 deadline!

Helping Good People do Great Things. The Woolwich Community Fund works to enhance the quality of life in our community now and into the future. Putting only the interest earned from donations to work to meet a wide range of changing needs creates a permanent fund to strengthen Woolwich in perpetuity.

Grants support initiatives in diverse areas of the community including, health, education, environment, recreation, culture, community development, literacy, social services and other fields.

Registered charitable organizations whose services benefit the citizens of Woolwich Township are invited to apply for grants annually. Grants are available:

  • for capital expenditures
  • for seed money for new initiatives.

Please note: grants for operating expenses are not eligible.

The Woolwich Community Fund Grants Committee consists of representatives from the community. It is the Grants Committee that makes the recommendations of where the funds should go. Every year the Grants Committee reviews its priorities to make sure that they grow along with the community.
