Have you ever thought about the time in your life when you will have the means to get more involved in our community by donating funds or volunteering? If you did get five minutes to slow down long enough to think about it - would you know what organizations would benefit the most from your time or resources?

The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation has developed a new program to help you do just that. ENGAGE! K-W is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and aspiring community leaders make a difference in the K-W community.

The goal of the program is to raise awareness of community issues and provide people just like you with information about potential philanthropy. The great thing about the program is that there is no immediate commitment - not an amount or a timeframe. All you are saying when you join is that when you are ready, you will give back to the community.

And there isn't a catch. You start by signing an ENGAGE! card or signing up on the website. Then, you'll periodically receive information about social issues in our community. If you have questions - you can contact The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation. They will then connect you with the causes you care about.
